Winter 2021 No Ski No Holiday

“It felt like the door had been slammed in our face,” said Catherine Jullien-Breches, the mayor of Megeve, whose currently green slopes are generally covered with snow by mid-December. “It’s like going on holiday on the Cote d’Azur and being told the sea is off-limits,” said David Le Scouarnec, co-owner of Megeve’s Café 2 la Poste. So is there any nonskiers alternative in Megeve?

Sure there is plenty to do in Megeve for non-skiers and these are a few ideas.

  1. SIGHTSEEING FLIGHTS This can be done from the Altiport at Cote 2000. You can get the bus there. Flights vary from a 10-minute flight around Megeve to a flight around Mont Blanc and the price varies accordingly.
  2. DOG SLEDDING You can try your hand at driving a dog team or just enjoy a ride in a sled
